official wii component?

hi guys,

i'm finding it ridiculously tricky to find an official component cable, basically is it a simple fact that it is by far the best or would a **** branded one be just as good?

(i really do want the very best i can get to make up for the lack of graphical prowess compared to my ps3)

if it is definitely worth it, i'll import one...
 
You lose resolution as you are only 480p res.

A decent RGB could be an idea as its 576i so you get more detail. Does depend on the tv though
 
my question was more to do with official component vs third party (like the **** one which is a tenna)... is it worth going official?

i've got a 26" telly and i just want the best picture i can get...

(p.s. what the hell is the deal with component? all those cables just for an image... what's wrong with a nice hdmi cable!)
 
I use the game component cable on my parents 32" HDTV, it looks a hell of a lot better than the official skart in the same television.
 
I bought a Mad Catz universal one as the game shop near me didn't have the official one. I needed component as my TV is mounted on the wall and there isn't enough clearance for SCART!

It looks much nicer than before which is a plus point, as well as being able to actually plug it into the TV!

I'm playing it on a 42" 1080p plasma.
 
I brought mine from a popular gaming store in the high street (**not sure if I can mention it) I had to ask for mine as none were on show. He had to go out the back. Paid £14.99 for the official one which I thought was pretty good.
 
I bought mine (third party) for about £10 inc delivery from the well known auction site over a year ago and it's been great. A large improvement over SCART.
