Is this in the Mii screen? I created a Mii but never noticed anything about friends codes a la DS.

Also there doesn't seem much point being on the net yet? There isn't anything to do as all the channels are offline still.

Actually while I remember, mine crashed when I connected to the online shop.. the wiimote lost connection to the Wii and wouldn't re-detect, I was a bit upset till I ripped the power lead out and it came back.

It's in the mail screen, go to Create New Mail and there's an address book which will tell you your number and allow you to register your friends numbers. Once both you and your friend have entered the respective number your Miis will migrate to the consoles and you can email each other!

they can either send you one if your setup as a Friend on both consoles. Or Miis turn up in your Mii parade which can then be dragged into your Mii Plaza.

Edit :- Oh if you add someone please tell them, as otherwise you won't get a match as BOTH people have to put in each others code in the address book to get it matched properly. If only one does it won't work properly.
