Official World Cup Song revealed

Awful in my opinion, if anybody heard the Chris Moyles show this morning, Aled's song is much better than this! Is it just me or do all Embrace's songs sound extremely similar?

Its going to take something a tad better than this to beat 3 Lions.
 
Very dull and boring. Lets hope someone comes up with a lively song that can actually be sung on the terraces.
 
i dont see why 3lions isnt back out..

40years of hurt.. it fits better than no more years of hurt (1998 poor version)

pretty simple really and we all know its a quality football anthem, plus its in germany this year... it all fits

It really is terrible

Three lions was a great song, not only cause it was good to listen to, but everytime i listen to that song i get goosebumps cause it really makes you wanna get up and support your team.

This song makes me wanna go to sleep, and thats not how a world cup song should be, hardly a song to lift the players now is it

Yeah it does. it makes direct reference to the WC.

I'm not sure. I wasn't keen at first and though I like Embrace I didn't think it would be the right sound for a WC song, but I think its a grower. Gonna allow it some time before I slate it.

3 lions is boring now and Vindaloo was boring the year it came out :o

Oh yes! Someone needs to do a remix of it with the John Barnes rap in the middle, everyone would love it then.

From the clip on the BBC website I sort of like the lyrics but it isn't upbeat enough for a world cup anthem.

It probably needs re-recording with some cheer.
 
the "who do you think you are kidding" song is good. you know the one which has the lyric "Jurgen has only got one Ballack!!" too bad they were in breach of copyright so they changed the song which made it poor.....bring back the 3lions.
that was the best!!
