For damage meters Recount or Skada whichever you prefer.

Funny thing is theres always a disparity between the numbers reported by these apps on different people machines.

In a raid my Skada can have as much as a 2k difference between a mates Recount (with recount being 2k higher).

Please do not get one for the purpose of spamming recount in 5 mans, its annoying as fek and just makes me think the player is a tool.

As a meand of gauging your own performance and testing out results of new glyphs/rotations etc the damage meter is great.

As a means for /flex its not :)

I used to use recount to try and catch that offending DK and his death n decay starting special whilst I tank.
Now it's just for watching who is going afk lol.
 
Arrrrgh. I am tempted to come back but don't know which of my chars.

My original main and baby Shadow Priest (with loads of awesome items, gladiator mounts etc) or my relatively new Prot Warrior. I loved tanking as prot but then SP changes are interesting also....

I've done all of the pre-Cata quests from the NPCs outside the Inn at Orgrimmar (on all chars). Any idea when the next phase will start, or what quests will be involved?

The SP changes aren't really that interesting, the rotation is going to remain largely the same as Mind Spike isn't going to be used as a main damage spell in PvE at least.

Its probably going to be good in PvP though.

The faceplate of the impenetrable dropped, the leader gave it to a paladin and not me. Fun times.

I just looked through the Cata information for warrior and I think I will stick with my prot specced warrior.

Shame as my priest has HUGE history. :(

In all fairness, no matter what class you play, it'll get fairly boring after a while anyway.

If you like playing your priest, and as you say you have a huge history with it getting Gladiator etc (which means more than any PvE achievement tbh) then you should probably stick with that. You can't PvP as prot either (well you can, but not arena) so you would have to take the Arms tree into consideration also.
 
well im going to have hybrids as my new mains

worgen druid and goblin shammy so i can change roles if i get bored.

then im going to have two pure dps alts for pvp

It is live, yes. You can get all four of them done in one go (so its a 5 minute job) if you do it in Outland :)

This is true, but I played my Shadow Priest to the absolute peak of the classes ability. I've nowhere near the same level of mastery with warrior so if any class is going to get 'boring' again fast it will be my priest. I also will never do a healing role again as I did that for the first half of my priests life.

The armoured Glad drakes, achievements etc are awesome and all but only a small part of the gameplay so should not be a concern...really :D
 
Managed to retrieve my old account, currently lvlling a gnome warrior ready for cata as it seems everyone is always in need of a tank. Probably jump onto my lock or shaman afterwards for some casting action, Locks always been my fave however. Hello to all the frostmane ppl btw i use to play there a lot on horde side a while back when a few servers got transfered there
 
just made a great deal. arctic furs have flooded the alliance side om my server so people are having a hard time selling them, bought 39 of them @20g each to resell at 60-90g horde side :p.
 
Grrr, trying to faction change and realm transfer at the moment to play with some RL mates, but it has frozen my payment method for 24 hours! Managed the faction change no bother, its the realm transfer thats the problem - getting an error message of "you cannot enter payment details more than three times in 24 hours"

Hurry up and open Blizzard payment support!
