** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

Just hit level 13 and still playing it by being a helpful priest:)
I helped out a random yesturday who was playing as his new alt a paladin.
I helped him get up a few levels, he was quite puzzled why i was helping him but he was very grateful. He insisted on giving me 50 silver for the help, after 2 mins of me insisting to keep it i gave up and took it.
Forward onto today and i start playing again and i just happen to run into him again and hes playing as a rogue now and i just happen to remember his guild. I say hello and he was so happy to see me he just gave me 5 gold:eek::D
Hes added me to friends and i hope ill see him again on my travels. Ive also helped out a few other players and i have to say im really enjoying playing this way.
Sure i would probably be a few levels higher if i just looked after myself but i wouldnt get as much enjoyment out of it.

once you get to 15 bakes you can make loads of friends in the LFG tool, if our lucky you get a nice tank and a good group who just want to spam a load of them and then watch the levels zip by :)

Pfft, I was a die hard horde fan since Vanilla.

I felt it was time for a fresh start so now I'm Human.

All fear the gold wearing Marshal of Stormwind! By the time you see my gold armour glinting in the light you're already dead!

Well aslong as you're not over lvl 69, otherwise my lvl 60 can't hit you.:p

Level 60 twink? I one shot you :p;)

Pretty much full BIS other than stuff you can't actually get now, I have avengers/judgement/marshals but it's mostly in my bags unless I'm messing about.

I've let the account expire though because 4.0 ruined it, it's on a classic account.

Ah fair enough, was only joking around anyway. A twink is when you stay at a certain level and just max out the character! When I saw the full marshals I reckoned that's what you were up to.

Sounds silly, although I am myself. Planning on getting to 70 with my lvl 60 Marshal's and sword. :)

I really want the Knight's Tabard to complete my look but that'll take me weeks to get from just pvp'ing each day :(

Decided to start playing again and rolled a new char (Paladin) Now it's 80 and just finishing off some PVP gear.

Anyone from OC on the Outland relm? (Horde side) Fancy adding me (neodite)

Used to play on a low pop server so don't know anybody yet :p so would be nice to get some adds :p

hehe, i'll try not to attack you if i see you around. Can't promise though ;)

New guild trying to talk me into playing Demo lock for 10% SP buff in Cata instead of my Shadowpriest :( Doing 10 mans and we have no ele shaman so I'm the only other alternative for the buff.

Do not want :(

I'm not sure what to do now. My main is a druid healer, I rolled him mainly as it's super easy to get random groups, and was hence fast to lvl using the dungeon finder.

I always fancied rolling a Paladin, but then I could tank/DPS on my DK if I wanted, and heal on my Druid. So why bother.

I fancy rolling a Warlock or other ranged DPS next, but being DPS the queues for randoms will be really long (which is why I rarely play my DK). My Druid has Moonkin as o/s, so I can use him for ranged if I want.

I don't fancy Rogue, as I can do that on the Druid as well if I get some new gear.

So, not really sure what to try next...

Sounds lame. Get a new guild imo :p

I would never re-roll a char just for the guild. End of the day they recruited you knowing full well what class you were.

Its all well and good them asking you, and if you dont mind hey ho. But end of the day you shouldnt have to change class just to suit your guild. I thought SP's were freaking awesome at the moment anyways ?

Its odd though theres 3 DK's in my guild and yet both of them dont feel that DK's are no longer a high dmg done class. Yet every raid we have done so far I have always been top 3 and murdered the other 2 DKs. They are both unholy like me. They are better geared too..... Maybe I'm just better than them :p

Is sweet though I joined this guild as a trial they were unsure because they didnt really need another DK in the guild but I had good gear and a lot of experience in the 10man HMs so they took me on. Within 3 weeks I got a /w from the GM saying holy crap man where have you been hiding you really know your class. 4th week in promoted to full raid member :)

I am also now in the "A" team for cata 10mans. Basically the way our guild has decided to tackle the raids is 25 man up stuff till we hit a wall. Then spilt into 3 10man teams to learn the fight. Then once we happy go at again with 25. How well that will work *shrugs* But still looking forward to it :D

I had a thought, can a Paladin tank at lvl15?

I have only really dabbled at tanking on my DK, after grinding to 80 as DPS, never at lower levels so I didn't really "learn" the techniques.

I was wondering if playing Paladin tank from lvl15 up would be a new experience and help me learn to tank from scratch. Or is it better to wait until a particular (higher) level before starting tanking a Paladin?

Good idea?
