** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

she (alice from their billing support) said the beta servers might be down for maintaince... i told her it's been going on for a few days so it's not possible that they are down, and even so, we can't even access the beta forums/bnet page etc so it doesn't make any sense.
that was her answer, i don't honestly buy it. since when do companies BAN people while maintaining their servers? :P

tbh if more people would call their billing support we might actually get this sorted by them, if only one person calls, they won't bother imo :)
 
Tbh, they probably have no idea themselves. I guess it's luck of the draw over which call person you get, some look into thing more than others.
 
Sadly since everything involving the non live servers is all done by the US teams it's unlikely the phone support (unless you phone the us number lol) will be able to do anything.

There was an email addy in the invite email but it sounds like more of a tech support than an account support one...
 
It must just be a problem on their side...

Just think, you ban a large group of people from the alpha and what will happen... You wont be under the NDA and can blab all you want... It would be in the interest of blizz to keep every one in the alpha

You'll all get back on sooner or later... if not, i wouldn't mind knowing what its like :p

Well it's.... oh you! If I were in the alpha (and not admiting that I am) you almost got me.... honest! ;) :p
 
Blizzard are never exactly fast at answering emails and they probably are US addresses so need to wait for them to wake up over there.
 
Yeah Im still banned too :( Just been playing as normal up until now, submitting bug reports etc. Ah well, hopefully just a glitch on Blizzards side!
 
Odd, now when I try to log into the alpha I get an additional option of choosing between 2 accounts :confused:. 1 is still flagged as banned, the 2nd logs in, but no realms. Can anyone with alpha forum access see if there's any topic on the whole banned thing? Also if someone could email in trust the support email for them id be grateful. I have had a few phishing emails lately and the alpha one doesn't really stand out.
