Still banned here, and as with others, I submitted useful feedback, and no whining. But I really don't think it would be that, as near enough everyone here was blanket banned.

I'm quite annoyed that we've heard nothing from them, fair enough if they have a reason to ban us from it, but at last have the decency to explain why.

Was surprised I could play the alpha without a current sub anyway

Think I enjoyed playing the new 80+ content more than the new goblin and worgen zones. Quite strange as I was most looking forward to trying out the new characters and zones but they were mostly 'meh' with a few rare genuinely fun moments.

Well my account was fine until a while ago before the patch, first showed banned in Battle.Net but I could still login to the game. Now, I can't login to either

Im more annoyed with the fact not only am I banned from the Alpha/Closed beta, but also the live PTR, what on earth is that all about. I've been an alpha/closed beta tester for almost every single MMO released in the past decade so im more than familiar with what needs doing.

Its a ban because the GM handed out invites over a public forum to anyone who asked for a closed Friends and Family only Alpha.

Then surely everyone who received an invite from said gm would be banned and not just random selections of people.

Gonna give it a few days and see what happens. They could just be slow in getting things sorted, the beta only went live today after all. Hoping to get back in, was enjoying provifing useful feedback while experiencing new content for once!

If they really have banned us all for testing their product and not even having the decency to thank us, well i find that disgusting.
A lot of us did report bugs and give feedback on certain quest, so why would they just ban you and basically tell u to **** off?

im still banned, never got a chance to fully test out the alpha due to finishing uni but didnt think they'd ban me for that :/ was planning on playing and giving loads of feedback when uni finished but ive been banned since i finished.

Same situation as me, pretty dire customer service to be honest.

Attempted to use their email form but gave up after it asked me what the answer was to my secret question, without actually giving me the question. How the hell am I supposed to remember that from over 5 years ago?

Phone lines are listed as 'Billing' or 'Technical Support', which this is neither .

TBH - if I don't get un-banned, I'll pretty much 100 percent quit.

I know it likely sounds like whining, but I was holding on playing this game by a thread since I've got so much other stuff to do. Blizzard's customer care is quite frankly pretty awful. I'd even take being banned if I got an email as to why, but just to cut us off and ignore us is very bad. I'm paying money to a company for them to not even give me the reasons why a part of my service is down.

It's worse because live is so meh right now, I'm guideless and just play a bit for fun, so playing cata was a nice change of pace.

Was a bit suprised how much was still missing at the end of the Alpha, and its going to be a real challenge for them to make the end of the year. For example, many spells were not working, could only level to 82, only 2 working instances, no raid instances, etc.

My overall impression is that it was enjoyable, but was essentially "more of the same" and I do wonder if there is enough there to keep people interested.

That pretty much sums up my opinion aswell - unless they do somthing REALLY special with the instances and make them considerably more entertaining than wotlk (which only has one decent raid - ulduar ) then I'll be calling it quits. Was far from impressed from what I saw of the closed beta.

Looking through the talent trees, they've barely changed since the alpha.

They said they'd make them more interesting, okay, it's still early beta... but stil... they're actually less "wow" than TBC to WOTLK so far.

Yeah. My sub runs out on the 14th of july I think, if I don't get my access / some sort of explanation by then, I'm cancelling for good I think. I'm pretty annoyed, not only because my access has been taken away and I was submitting bug reports and being helpful in the forums, but because I've had no "sorry but" emails, no response to my attempts to contact them.
