** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

hi there sorry this isnt about catalysm i just have a problem logging into wow, i log in fine, then it goes to choose realm, i select the one and press ok, it then says connected for a long time, then just says disconnected from server. This is the trial account btw.

Any suggestions? i really want to try the game out as i never have but it wont let me start, my internet is fine with other games.
 
Yeah, seems a bit odd at the moment. The game didn't feel this catastrophic when approaching Wrath, or even TBC.

My Rogue was crunching 6/7k on dummies (Glyphed) while my Shadow Priest of similar'ish gear (Glyped also) was pulling off 8/9k. I thought "Interesting". Shot off to Noth (weekly) and did 13k... My first ever character was my Rogue and I'm feeling rather ****ty about this. I love my Priest, I think it's an excellent class all round but the fact is, it's a hybrid.

On the other hand, my 24 Hunter was doing 139 DPS as Beast Mastery! :D

Is your rogue at the Expertise cap and spell hit cap? What spec are you and have you adjusted your rotation?
 
I just downloaded the 4.7gb patch off gamershell.com because i had enough of the crap download rates on the wow client.

but the file is "World of Warcraft v3.3.x to v4.0.0 NA Patch"

I logged in and it says about i might be in a different region...

so what is NA?

is that the correct one or have i wasted 4.7gb download :(

and why the hell does it matter its still the same content. :S

I have been looking around and I just have to ask, can anyone advise me on a good Enhancement shaman thread/forum I can read around on?
bit lost, have a decent talent build but having little trouble deciding on glyphs and stats.

TUKUI, does anyone know what's the easiest way of key binding there? i am used to having the /kb menu on recount, i can't stand the default blizzard key bindings menu...

As far as i know, reforge to make sure your expertise and spell hit capped. After that id guess mastery.

Haste is bad now, change all gems to agility. Glyphs i dunno.

Did icc hc 25 today same gear as before and well, dps is shocking. Im aware i need to regem + fix glyphs but still. In full 277 gear, normally id pull 16 - 17k on saurfang pre patch. Today i got 11k :s The other enhancement shaman has almost identical gear and similiar dps levels.
