Im in that boat too...havent played for about a year. I have a Pala that was Ret but wanna heal on.. and I have a Lock that i really enjoy.. I like my pala.. and i like my lock.. but which one to choose?

Heh, same position as me but with my Priest and my Mage. I love both equally :\

I used to get 2 emblems of triumph a day through the random dungeons. It took around 65 to get a heirloom, so would take about 32 days to get one.
I now get 12 justice points per dungeon instead. And the heirlooms are 2175JP.

That's going to take 181 days to get one :(

Yeah, unfortunately the changes are a bit of a PITA for those running lvl68-80 dungeons rather than Heroics. The only thing I can suggest is levelling up to 80 and run Heroics, you'll get 16 Justice Points per boss, or grind out Champion Seals at the Argent Tourney.
 
How much of the new content has been implemented?

Have the zones been released with their Cata design yet?
Can the new class combos be played? i.e. human hunter etc
 
no he wont, 4.0.3 will implement the new 1-60 content along with the new classes for existing races. This patch is due before the end of the month.

the new races, and 80-85 though will not be unlocked until 7th of December.
 
I just uninstalled and cancelled my account, which sucks since I upgraded to Cataclysm online last week. :(

I'd forgotten how much of a total time-sink this game is, on friday I quite happily played from about 5pm when I finished work, to about midnight, totally ignoring the missus and kids.

I really wanted to see all the new content, but at the end of the day, it's like the South Park episode - I just spend all the time roaming around the forest "killing boars".

Just need to find an outlet to sell the account now.... ;)
 
hehe moderation is the key to playing wow :)

I've never ever had a problem control how much I play or don't play. End of the day I just make sure in my head that it is just a game and that going out to see friends or spending time with my family is more important than making a raid.

I'm in a hardcore(ish) raiding guild too. Just need to manage your time. But then again its not that easy for everyone else so *shrugs*

GL selling it though :p

I guess this is normal mode only? Ahh yeah it is.
Just get a level 80 and run heroics tbh, you'll get 87 average per run not including the daily.

Time management can be hard, depends on your responsibilities. I can understand if having come straight from work you just want to chill and not be with the kids and wife. :p
 
Decided on my warrior as prot and within a few days have totally updated my gear to Tier 10/random items with JP and some drops from the higher iLvl instances.

If I heard correct if you want to save JP for the expansion the most you can hoard is 4,000 right?
 
Yea 4k is the cap. You cannot earn more than that. I keep thinking maybe I should spend some and just earn them back. But then again I cba :p

I think from what one of my guildies said about the beta is that 4k JPs will get you about 2 items. So its not a great deal but better than nothing.
