anyone got atlasloot enhanced working with atlas?

ive got atlasloot 6 but atlas aint having any of it.


fixed it need atlas 1.18 which is beta, curse client wouldnt download it :/

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/default.aspx has all your addons in class specific groups which may be of some assistance for you.

Pretty much essential addons for all my chars are :

1. DBM, bigwigs etc for boss alerts, raid timers etc
2. Skada/Recount DPS/Healing/ Threat meters
3. Omen, dedicated threat meter
3. Bartender (button bars)
4. Postal (post addon)
5. Altoholic (epic addon for managing alts)

There are other addons but not essential for a non raider.

You may want some sort of party frames rather than the default ones, somethin like Grid, Xperl, Vhudo etc
 
Atlasloot is very handy as well to see what instance has what gear, faction gear etc. Couldn't live without it! New version is rather snazzy too once you get used to it!

1, 2 and 3 are pretty pointless for a non-raider.
Dominos is much better than Bartender imo.

Do i race change from an Orc Male Death Knight to a Goblin Female/Male or not.
This has been bugging me ever since i tried it on BETA, Midget=Melee looks weird, Am i the only one who thinks this?
 
Thanks for the suggestions everyone - I'll have a browse through them all after Cata so I don't have to redo my UI.

Dimi: I know what you mean about 'midget melee' :D

You can, but doing bosses without bossmods for example is just shooting yourself in the foot big time.

In 5 mans, fair enough.

This isn't quite correct though is it? Of course a 'good' player will play ok without add-ons but that is hardly the point.The point is that add-ons enable a player to play *better* ,whether a good player or not.

Add-ons streamline certain aspects of the game.Want an easier way to manage multiple auctions? Get an add-on.Want a prettier looking, multifunctional interface? Get an add-on.Want a quicker way to heal in dungeons? Get an add-on.

Implying that practice will allow you to play without add-ons as well as people who have them is missing the point a little.

Bagnon

And eventually you will need Dominos, because Blizzards bars and keybinding method is awful.

Addons can help you play better yes, if you install an addon you don't automatically become better at the game. What I was trying to say that you can get away with minimal addons and preform just as well as those with them. Obviously this applies to different parts of the game.
