Well today I have learnt that iPhones were not designed to - a) be water proof and b) float. I found this out by dropping it in the toilet

I've used a hair dryer, oven and have now put it in some moisture absorber thing! Hopefully it will fix it otherwise i'll have to spend £££ getting a new phone!

Please put all pwned, haha and other comments below.

Thank you.

:(

P.S. it was clean water, not dirty water!

I have no rice or an airing cupboard.

I have some home dehumidifier which I've put it in - hopefully that'll work just as well!

Well who wants to hear my quick review of the WP7 software? No one? Well i don't care what you say!

It's brilliant - no better way to phrase it really!

The integration with Facebook and Windows Live is great as i can see all my friends updates without having to go into Facebook.

E-Mail - is great, so easy to setup Gmail and Live Mail (took about 15 seconds to set up).

The UI - is soooooooo easy to use. I thought the huge tiles would annoy me but i actually quite like them, especially the people tile which provides a live stream of Facebook profile pictures.

Zune (Music & Videos) is easy to use and looks great.

Xbox Live - games are good, but expensive. I haven't bought one but have downloaded many trials and all the games looked great and had no game lag at all.

Marketplace - it's a bit of a barren wasteland at the moment so not many good apps to choose from (Also, apps are more expensive then Apple App store and are about equal to Android).

Umm, yea... that's about it.

It still needs work but it is v1.0 so it's not going to be perfect just yet as it's still missing some little features that most mobile users need.

Overall - 8/10

BUT

I have just bought an iPhone 4 32GB off eBay for £500. The only reason i've done this is because i love the iPhone due to the Apps and the App store has LOADS of them. I have about £150 worth of Apps and about £200 of music and videos and it seems a complete waste of money if i can't use them!

If i was new to the Smartphone market - i would choose the HD7 though.

And how far back was this exactly?

A lot of games are on Android Market now that are decent and great looking, they're free (with ad support) or cheap.

Sounds like you had a quick 5 minute experience run moan massacre or something :p

This was about 3 months ago.

I don't like ad-support and most games on App Store are 59p compared to Android Market where it's about £1.79 or something like that.

I honestly wanted to like it, but i just couldn't. I've become an iPhone addict :(
