Dude, many people would have been upgrading from WindowsME.
On the serious side, I never had any stability issues with XP.
If its so bad, don't install it
Anyone know if you can run Windows in Mac via bootcamp drive?
Yea All good taking the Michael but who’s using the OS?
Oh and dont reply to this crying like a 7yr old "I can install windows if i want" because you will then sound more childish
Then why install windows if Mac OSX is so must faster, more stable, allows high productivity etc?
Oh and we see the real side, what’s with the language? What about my right to say what I want?
This thread is like a big bucket of bait tbh, I have a G4 Mac that runs Leopard so I ant not fanboy.
Thats all i wanted to know, makes sense having 1 machine for 2 OS's, but these "Normal Windows Tasks" why cant Mac OSX run them?
No problem Just the way the your post read to me that’s all, I don’t usually post replies like I did but just seemed like blatant bait
What’s it like running XP under Parallels? I’ve never read up on this as I have my main PC and just use my G4 Mac cube once in a blue moon so havent the need to install it etc, is just like VM Ware under windows? I can imagine it runs slow though?
Quick question, isnt it possible to get Mac OSX on a PC now they are both the same chips?
I usually switch my machine off each night, so my longest run time is about 12 hours. No crashes for as long as I can remember...certainly not ones requiring a reboot.
What a pointless thread.
Even by your standards.
How would Office 2007 cope?
That's all I want it for.
Otherwise, just stick with Office 2008, got the Student Edition and it's much much better since 2004's, still takes a good few second on the splash screen but it works speedily when ready.
Too right, Microsoft making a better product for their competitor!
