Ok, advise appreciated. £800 Budget. I require a setup comprising of cpu & Cooling, motherboard, memory & power supply with 2x 5770 in xfire. Good overclock potential. Including a case, which will be the Fractal Design black pearl Midi.
I've looked at the overclocked bundles, but the Radons seem to use mini-ITX motherboards, and tbh I have no idea whether I can put 2 GPUs in them. I'm a little out of my game, as I haven't upgraded for a while.
CPU preference is none in particular, you guys know better than me which CPUs overclock well, and which don't. So I put my faith in you :D.
Peace.

add a performance heatsink and your done, a Titan Fenrir?

To note, i don't need the HDD or optical drive. That Titan looks mean. How well will the CPU Overclock and will the Antec modular be enough for overlcocking and 2 gpus?

thought i would get creative.

*cough* lacking power connectors for the 2x 5830s with that PSU. you'd have to upgrade to the 650W version at least.

Also you'd be pushing a 550W PSU nearly to the limit with CF 5830:

Middle ground, change the Antex for a Corsair HX 650/750?.. Whats the upshot of the 5830 toward the 5770s, bang per buck wise?

simple fix.

Not a bad upgrade for £50 more than I asked for, I'll go for that :D. So what kind of overclock can I expect? Ofc, it's been a few years. So i'll be asking for advice on clocking it as well.. But it'd be nice to know how much I'll be pushing :D Thanks.

The Nero S is slightly better than the Venom, from what i've seen. And that can keep up with the big players air cooling wise quite nicely. The Freedom Tower may be worse, but is still a solid cooler and is within a couple of 'unnoticeable' degrees. I'd assume this would be a better option since there's been quite a few complaints about the reliability of the Fenir.

thats why i put the "closer" comment, i was expecting it to be worse, being an Akasa. :p
