It seems now, if i leave one of my pc`s off for a little while, say over 6 hours, i get a double bleep telling me i have a gpu failure. Several restarts, and the general pushing the card about a tad gets it booted up. Im at a loss as to why this has started to happen of late. I hope somethink isnt going wrong with the nvidia 7900GT card, if so im going to get a tad angry. Poxy computers

Probably a silly answer but have you made sure it's secured to the PCI plate properly? I have an old GeForce 3 that loves to do this due to the fact that it's not secured properly so slips out of the AGP slot at one end.

It could be that im not giving enough rpm (volts) to the Vf900, i`ll up it a bit, see if thats wots doing it, which i doubt. Its odd because if i leave it off for a few hours its fine, most weird.

that doesnt make sense, how would the card not work when its cool at startup but then work when when its warm?

sounds like a power/connection issue - cleaning connectors 4tw.
