Hi all ive just been getting into me ebay and paypal stuff and before now I have never ran an anti virus prog.
well im using avira free thought i would do a scan tho i have been logging into me account today and it beeped :O i have the

TR/Banker.Banker.ykb doh what the hell should I do does this mean i havehad me stuff stolen now whats the chance of some one actualy have found out me passwords etc?.

I am going to let avira finish the i know the virus is gone then I will log onto me accounts and change all the detail will this be ok? or am i now stuffed?.

please advise ive never used ebay or paypal before so never ran an anti virus program cus back then if i had a virus i would reformat cus i never put important details in to me pc ever till now.

then i go and get a bloody virus :(.

hi thanks for the reply.

but i had a look at the type of virus it says its a grabber so i assume that means like a password grabber?.

so im now on me other pc that i know is good as i aint long formated it im going to change all the details on that one :)
 
i'd probably do a full format i'd never risk using a computer again thats had a potential to steal your paypal/ebay/bank details.

you need security when your using these services not the headache of having to phone up multipe people to sort all your stuff out.

30mins format or potentially a few hours on the phone and a lot of heartache.
the choice is yours

if your AV caught it before you entered your details you should be fine
 
You could trust Avira to get rid of it, or at the other extreme format the computer. My personal preference would be at the latter end of the spectrum. At the very least I would use a different computer to change my paypal, email and any other passwords used on that computer to be on the safe side.
 
nope dident warn me before i enterd details :( i suppose thats the prob with free avira i dont know.

well im going to change me passwords etc on me other pc so there is no way he/she can hack it unless they have all ready changed them there self hehehehe. brb
