Am looking to replace my PSU and also get me some serious cable tidying going on at the same time.

Case wise, I use an Antec P180 (I think, been a while since I bought that), but the PSU sits at the bottom of the case in its own enclosure.

The rest of my kit is as per my sig.

Ideally I want to hide as many of the cables as possible (possibly looking at buying some extension cables too for neatness and hiddy factor).

What do you think would be a good PSU for this kit and my aims?

Cheers

Haha, well if you want something from a reputable company (which you do obviously :p) I'd probably get one of these 2:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Professional Series AX850 High Performance 850W Modular '80 Plus Gold' Power Supply (CMPSU-850AXUK) £154.99
1 x Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-850HXUK) £121.99
Total : £288.98 (includes shipping : £10.00).

The extra 30 quid gets you a fully modular PSU as opposed to semi modular, depends how modular you want it ;). The 850w leaves a bit of room for future upgrades and the like, crossfire and such wonders :D

+1 if you really want to spend that much on a psu. lol

Probably the biggest pluspoint on the AX is it's completely silent when under 200W load as the fan isn't active. This also has the added bonus of reducing the chance of the fan failing in later life as it will have a much longer life span if it's not being used all the time.

Having said the the HX is still a very good PSU, I've the 650 W version on my work PC.
