Oh no, I'm such a criminal... !

Ah, that yellow line wasn't my whole journey.

It just indicates the part I got charged for.

I think they should scrap the whole extended western zone completely and keep it to central London.

I thought they had scrapped it? When I worked in Kensington (near Olympia) most of the cars had anti extension stickers on.

Just consider the £60 as a fine for driving into the capital without false plates.

I would've just "broken down" and spent 15 minutes trying to fix it, or is it an offence to break down on a red route too?

Not ever having driven into London, do I understand the system correctly; If you drive through the congestion zone between 7AM and 6PM, you have until midnight the same day to pay the charge? So you get 6 hours in which to pay something you get no actual notification or invoice for, and a PCN if you fail to do this?

There's signs bloody everywhere telling you you're approaching or entering the C charge zone so it's not like you can pretend you didn't know you were in it.

I love the western extension because I live in it so now I get a 90% Residents' Discount on the WHOLE congestion charging zone! Makes no sense whatsoever, but means I can drive into central London for cheap!!

Am I right in saying there's no congestion charge on weekends?
as I got a little lost and saw a congestion sign. Not sure if I entered the zone or not.
