Hiya Fella's,

I'm currently using the below system:-

Intel Core i7 920 D0 @ 2.66Ghz,
Noctua NH-U12P,
Foxconn Renaissance Mobo,
Radeon HD 4870 1024MB,
OCZ Gold 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 Low-Voltage Triple Channel, Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATA-II 32MB Cache,

And am pretty happy with it, but I'm comming into some spare cash between now and christmas and loving my toy's I'm hoping to sell my current rig, and either build or buy something better! I've been told I can probably fetch a grand on the most common online auction site... so with that in mind I'm listing my new budget as £3,000.00 and would consider the

"Ultima Carbon" Intel Core i7 980X 3.33GHz @ 4.20GHz SLI DDR3 System" But wanna see what you guy's can come up with!!!

If I can save some money I will! ;)

I don't need a monitor, OS, or keyboard though a decent gaming mouse to go with my G15 would be good...

System is to be mainly used for gaming...
 
Just get 2 x 480s, C300, an Enermax Revolution or a [insert other high end psu here] and spend the rest on two more monitors, if it's just for gaming you really won't notice the extra two cores.

The processor you have currently is still amazing for gaming mate! Do NOT buy the 980X. Add to what you have! Add an SSD, one or two GTX 480s, and a new high end PSU.

If you are happy with what you have, just upgrade it. And, if you really want to, add some watercooling.
 
You guy's are probably right, I'll probably end up just changing some stuff up instead then! lol
