Screenshot looks shocking IMO. check the quality of the reflection in the mirror, like something off C64.
Guess comparing to Grid and dirt on PC is a bit unfair though.

That must be an early build. Prologue has much better reflections than that and they've said the full game will look a bit better than that too.

Not a big loss, as GT is not the great driving game it once was.

If Sony loss Gods of War as an exclusive title then they would be in trouble.

gt stopped being fun after the first imo... i played the original the quite recently and it was just really fun and all i can remember from gt3 (the last gt i played) was that it was one big giant grind.

Polyphony Digital are part of SCE anyway, so it will only be for other Sony platforms or the PC if it ever did make the leap.

True:

Polyphony Digital Inc. is an internal video game developing company of Sony Computer Entertainment and is part of the newly formed Sony World Studios.

Sony would never be silly enough to release arguably their biggest franchise on a directly competing platform (the 360). The PC is in my eyes, and many others' for that matter, not in direct competition with consoles so releasing it on that would make good financial sense. So i agree, PC release is probable, 360 release is a no-no. Gran Turismo is also notoriously expensive to develop, so i'm not surprised that they are looking for ways to increase its revenue stream.

GT1,2 & 3 were all great but GTA4 was just a mess. from what I played of GT5p, its a mixed of all the games, which makes it the best GT game. GT5p isn't even using the new engine which will be used for the final GT5 game. Can't wait for it but I've sold my G25 racing wheel, so, the DS3 will have to do. :(

I've never met anyone that said they didn't like GT. Even snoop dogg loves GT, he even did a song for GT3. :D
