Vista killed 500gb worth of data over 5 drives.

Fortunatly, the main part of my data is backed up.

But, along with some minor things, ive lost my fah wu's .

Whats going to happen to them now, will i get hunted down for it?

Ouchie indeed. Chances are, it hasn't actually overwritten it, just messed up the file tables? In which case, you might want to try some recovery software, should be able to pick up the majority of the data you didn't have backed up

You've got me worring about my data drive now... meh it's only videos and disc (cd/dvd) backups - the rest is also on my laptop Hope you can get it all sorted before the LAN Am I right in thinking that although you say 5 drives, some of them were in RAID?
