Oh stupid stupid - windows upgrade.

I've just realised I've missed the deadline for ordering a Windows 7 upgrade pack for my Vista laptop by four days :eek:

Anyone have any suggestions about how I could go about getting the upgrade?

Will Microsoft provide it directly?

Would it be possible to blag it from MSI still?

You could try contacting MSI, but I doubt you'd have any joy, to-be-honest. I can't see Microsoft providing it, either.

I'm sorry but £68 for the Upgrade or £99 for the full version of Home Premium is hardly "paying through the nose".
If the OS lasts you 3 years even the full version works out at only 9p a day to use.

I see your point, but when I could get it for free, paying anything is a lot to fork out.

I think I'll try contacting MSI and see what they see, apparently they have good customer service so I'll see what happens.
Curses, (looking at the time) it'll have to be tomorrow now.
