Of fixing something thats been bothering you for ages, gotta love it.

Today I fixed some very annoying issues that have been bothering me for a few weeks, but I was too lazy to attempt fixing them.

Well yesterday I sat down opened the ole PC and fixed the following.

- Why the BIOs was resetting itself / refusing to boot sometimes upon power on.
- Why my processor wouldn't keep it's overclock in Windows (kept resetting to 200 fsb)
- Fixed all my lights

<3 :)

Thats very nice and all, but it might help other people, if you told us how you fixed these problems. ;)

Heh well for the processor issue it was very simple and just my own stupid error.

I recently put in another 1 gig of ram and I before was running my 1 gig at 333 Mhz, of course putting the 2 gig in meant I should have lowered the divider, instead of running at 333 they were running at around 440 or so = overclock not possible >_<

The BIOs not booting was related to the incorrect Ram settings (and I believe my Battery was gone possibly also)

After changing the ram settings correctly so my processor was running overclocked again both problems seem to be fixed.

Guess it's just a reminder, always check your ram speeds if you put another gig in, I probably went around 3 weeks where my A64 was running at 1.8 Ghz instead of 2.5. :o
