Oh the joys of BT

Now, as some of you will be aware, im fairly heavily involved in a scout event (which happens to be taking place in 3 days) however BT have deactivated the sites phoneline which we use every year for our internet connection (which is fairly vital to the event itself).
They have now told us it will take them 2 weeks to reactivate the line, is there anything we can do about this as this sounds like a load of bs to me.

In theory it should be pretty straight forward for them to reconnect the line at the exchange.

The problem is you are dealing with BT and they will give a 10 day lead time (or thereabouts). They are unlikely to reduce this without a sound business case from yourself and even then I wouldn't expect them to pull out the stops.
