Ctrl enter is universally the shortcut for submit on Windows PCs. Outlook, forums, Teams, facebook, twitter, the lot. All use ctrl+enter to submit / send.


Except for this very PC orientated tech forum full of people who use PCs

I use Teams every day and have not used Ctrl-Enter once

Going to try it on Monday see what magic is performed by the addition of the Ctrl key

Ah crap, I think you're right! I haven't used Teams in ages tbh. I don't think any magic will be sprinkled over your conversations with the addition of the ctrl key

The rest still work though.

You're missing out, it's by far the most satisfying way to dispatch a well-crafted email. Especially important that you do so with a flourish, slamming down the enter key so everyone can hear and practically bouncing your fingers off in a vague sort of salute, simultaneously leaning back in your chair to admire your handiwork.

Literally *BOOM*, but without the mouth movement.

This guys gets it. Especially when it's a frothy-mouthy email, that additional sass when hitting ctrl+enter makes it all worthwhile.

Until you realise you're on a brand new laptop which still has autocorrect enabled and it changes your surname to "Knobbed"
