Oil coolers + changing oil?

Random question this, those with oil coolers should be able to answer.
My dad has an oil cooler on his scoob, now when he changes the oil, does he have to do anything differently?

EDIT - just thought I'd add... he hasn't changed the oil since he fit the cooler, hence the question.

its pressure fed so if most of the oil is out there nothing to pump the oil in the cooler out. i think it depends if the oil cooler hoses are on the top or the bottom of the oil cooler. there,s not enough oil in the cooler though to make a major difference i would think.

Your never going to get all of the oil out of the engine unless you had some method of flushing the system or some sort of vacum or pressure hose to force the oil out of the bends and the cooler where it would stay as well as coat the inside of the hoses etc.
