Oil-Filled Radiator Recomendation

Does anyone have a recommendation for an oil-filled radiator? I want something with enough heating power for a medium-sized bedroom 8m x 10m. Should have a thermostat. A timer would be useful not essential. Preferably without too many lights as I don't want too much illumination at night. I just want something that has enough performance to do the job. Thanks.

any other heating in the room currently ? ie central heating.

I'm looking at these myself potentially as well for my recent loft office, but not sure if I need one yet as haven't spent enough time in the room :)

I have a 10 year old Delonghi which I sometimes use. It has a mechanical timer and is quite annoying. It clicks 4-5 times a second and keeps me awake if I've woken up in the middle of the night

Does anyone know how much noise the mechanical timers on these oil filled radiators make, for the ones that are on sale today? Do any of them run silent?

Are there any with electronic timers, where the LCD panel does not act as a light, as I don't want a light source in my bedroom.

Thanks

I have a Delonghi Dragon 3, and it's quite noisy. Not sure you can disable the timer completely, it still whirrs away when it's not in timer mode.

You could probably put some insulating tape over the LEDs if the glare became annoying.

Thanks for the reply.

Guys, I am still interested to know if there is any oil filled radiator on the market (9 or 11 fin, 2 to 2.5kW), that has a timer that can run silently and without much if any background light from the indicator lights or display. So, either a mechanical timer that is silent, or a digital timer where the display background light can be switched off so it does not light the bedroom up at night.

Thanks

Does it have to be oil filled?

I just bought one of Dimplex 2kW heater as I didn't want an oil filled one. We had one before and it ended up leaking everywhere.

That one doesn't have a timer but it does have a thermostat on it and seems to churn out a decent amount of heat.

De'Longhi Dragon 4 Electronic Timer Oil Filled Radiator TRDS4 1025E, 2500 W - White

Would appear that there is a Dragon 4 with electric buttons instead of a mechanical timer.
