Oil strike

but the strike is being said to affect scotland and the north east - why the hell are people panic buying in the midlands?? (if your locations are right)

Well, apparently that refinery serves 30% of the uk's total oil (according to the BBC) so I imagine a vast wedge of it makes it to the Midlands..

I really can't be doing with lame panic buyers wrecking everything again, its just the most stupid thing to do..

I was a bit miffed, because once I did actually manage to find a station with some diesel, it was 125p... about the highest i've ever paid tbh.

I used to have an old pug 205 1.8D, I swear I used to get 90MPG out of it, £15 used to last for like a week...

Monday, I witnessed a bloke filling up his car, then filling up cans and whatever else, might as well have stuck the nozzle in his jeans pockets and filled his pockets with fuel as well, total muppet....

I held my head in my hands as I watched a guy fill a transit van a few years back in the last serious strike/thing, then proceeded to fill 2 jerry cans with a vigilant expression on his face..

ffs, what goods a couple of cans of extra fuel going to do you???
