OK. Bit of a generic question...

Hey alL

I have a CoolerMaster HAF X Gaming Tower Case that was bought back in 2013.
Houses a Gigabyte Z87X-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard.

Time for an upgrade.

Probably going to throw a new graphics card in, but would like some advice regarding the cabinet.
I am going to build my own Steampunk style unit and water cool it.

Any advice on a good, standard cabinet that will lend itself to some pimping? I am WELL out of the loop these days.

Seeing as I am literally going to change every part of the shell anyway.

Will this 7 year old motherboard still fit OK?

The motherboard should be fine in any ATX case.
