does this sound like a worthy spec?

i only play at 1024 or 1280 and not much higher, its a new build for conan and looking for more performance than for looks.

Get a god CPu cooler like the tuniw tower and overclock the 8200 a LOT. You may run into RAM issues though as to reach 4GHz with 8200 you will need FSB of 500.

Check the available RAM dividers and the FSB that users are attaining on the mobo you chose.
 
I'd pick some PC8000+ Ram, there is some Ballistix PC8500 on This Week Only and it is even cheaper than the Ram you currently have by about a pound.

Other than that a good cooler as suggested is a good idea, you could perhaps get a cheaper motherboard if the budget is an issue.
