Hi all,

After posting a thread looking for advice a few days ago, and putting together some of the helpful advice, I've compiled this shopping list for my proposed new build. Is there anything I really ought to swap out, or anything I've forgotten? (I already have a 5070Ti for the GPU).

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,462.78 (includes delivery: £11.98)

yeah it's not great value tbh.

parts i'd swap out:
msi x870 for the msi b850, cheaper and also has pcie 5 to the gpu and ssd. £80 cheaper
corsair ram expensive, can get 4x 24gb for £200 currently, so just sell/keep the other 2 sticks - £50 dearer to buy, but is, in essence, £50 cheaper
nautilus is expensive, thermalright doing 360mm aios for under £40 currently, so that's £90 saved

That is 2x24gb, I recommended it to him in his other thread.

It's not a bad price for 48gb/c30 imo.

The next jump up with bling would be this 64gb set if buying from OCUK:

Edit: Totally misread your post so disregard, blame heat stroke and the gym.

Would it be more future proof to spend the extra to get 64gb RAM(2x32)?

Arguably and depending on what you're doing, for 95% of people 32gb is still ample.

I'd say that we're shifting toward 48gb taking over with the way prices are going and a desire for longevity in the current market, to really make use of 64gb however you need to be quite heavily into modding and certain games/genres which can be a touch niche.
