thinking about buying this complete system, will it be good enough for running upcoming games on? Also would i be able to upgrade and run a second 4850 in crossfire at some point in the future?

any help appreciated

Yea, you'll be able to run a second 4850 in the future.

Personally I'd go for a 4870, it's not that much more expensive from what I remember.

It looks like a good system to me though

Looks ok to me, very similar to the system I was running up until very recently. I had no problems with current games.

So long as the motherboard gives you the option to upgrade at a later date (i.e. it supports AM2+ with Phenoms) I'd say it's fine. I agree that a 4870 may be a slightly better option for not much more money.

Plus the 6000+ can be clocked a little to squeeze a bit more out of it, well I had mine to ~3.2Ghz

thanks
and i would have chosen a 4870 but if 4850 will do i dont see why not just use it until i need something better, then run a second alongside it

thanks again for clearing that up

oh the reason im going with amd is because im buying a complete system, not building myself and theres no intel readymades i like the look of, wasnt going to build myself unless there was a big something wrong with this rig that i just hadnt spotted
