Hi all, just want your opinions before I hit order on this setup:

CP-135-IN Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM (CP-135-IN)
£97.99 £97.99
HS-017-AR Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) £12.99 £12.99
MB-061-GI Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £89.99
MY-076-CR Crucial 1GB (2x512MB) DDR2 PC2-8000C5 1000MHz Ballistix Dual Channel Kit
£104.99
GX-042-OK OcUK GeForce 7900 GS 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail £97.99
Subtotal £403.95
VAT £70.70
Total £474.65

Anything I can change to make it a better all round pc?

Only thing I am unsure of is the ram, Can I use DDR2 5400 (667mhz) and still get a decent oc from it?

Any other motherbaords avaiable for less that are still decent clockers (not too sure on the core2duo side of things - long time AMD user here)

I was looking at the 7600GT but the OCUK 7900GS is a steal at that price.

Wouldn't mind the price coming down a bit.

Cheers

EDIT:

Just tried the following which seems much more reasonable:

CP-135-IN Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM - £97.99
HS-017-AR Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) - £12.99
GX-042-OK OcUK GeForce 7900 GS 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - £97.99
MB-106-AB Abit AB9 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - £71.99
MY-083-CS Corsair 1GB DDR2 Value Select PC5300 Dual Channel Kit (2x512MB) - £77.99
Subtotal £358.95
VAT £62.82
Total £421.77

You will get away with pc6400 memory on a 1:1 ratio. Mine runs at 916Mhz happily on a 458fsb.

Dont get the 667 mem if you want to go 4 big oc's. Its really gonna limit u. The Corsair xms2 pc6400 cas 5 is only £10 more.

Ah so it is, I didn't see that memory.

Thanks for that.
