Been out of the hardware scene for a while now, and think its time to upgrade my ageing shuttle.

Main focus will be noise levels, I'm quite used to a quiet system with my shuttle and Ideally would like similar noise levels. Granted no midi tower will give the same noise levels.

The PC will mainly be used for surfing, the odd game, nothing too demanding only play footie/racing games. Watching the odd film and maybe some video editing too.

Budget is around £400-500 and for that I will require:

Nice case
Motherboard
CPU
Graphics card
Memory
PSU
Also some quiet case and cooler fan.
Also a another shuttle system is not out of the question..

i think your best bet is to look at a pre-made system on OCUK, and either buy it or copy it and buy all parts and change the case..

the antec 900 is best case in its price range if you like how it looks
 
I don't know too much about Shuttles but something like this might give you a decent basis to begin with nb the Shuttle barebones is currently out of stock however.
