ok help needed please

Right i have been having an ongoing issue with mass effect 2 on my system. it will only run smoothly when i uninstall what ever set of drivers im using and then re install them again. works fine then if i reset or turn off my pc and then go back to it its a mess again. its only this game that is affected. any idea's? i have tried different drivers,changing settings in game, setting affinity on the cpu its starting to really annoy me and get me down. my i refuse to believe something i have spent around 1700 on cant run a xbox 360 game

sounds like it must be running some sort of update after installation which is causing instability, can you make sure all auto-update things are turned off?
Or try different driver version maybe?

nah tried many different driver versions, nothing is updating. all connected correctly. changed the cpu affinity went back to stock settings as well. other games run fine so checked the integrity of the file, redownloaded it. re-installed the os, changed hard drive. other peoples 5870's run it fine (its way more than capable) so it must be the card really. i also cant overclock it even a tiny bit as it will crash no matter what. think im gonna send back for another as its only over a couple of months old. if i get another i may sell at as new and go nvidia as this has dissapointed me a lot
