My gf did a site design in photoshop, nothing fancy just a basic layout.
I got it hosted, firstly adding a simmmple rollover effect in imageready and a layer for text in dreamweaver and up it went.
Worked in IE, but the layer wasnt keeping inline with the rest of it in firefox.

So, im trying again today (on my pc now) and I've made myself totally lost.
Can't remember diddley crud all in dreamweaver, and its getting very annyoing.

All i want is to make the layout centered, then have the tabs with a rollover
on the tabs (the nav tabs on the left) (not the words, the actual tab changing to a lighter greenish) and then have a layer she can put thumbnails/writing in for the main bit with ease.

I had the great idea of making every image seperate then drawing a layout and putting them all in, and that fell over quite fantasically.
I then decided to set a main overall image as a bg, then add the rollover tabs ontop, but the layers kept going where they wanted when I viewed it.

So, can anyone really give me some help?
Either, how to make it so layers keep inline with the rest of the page, or generally what the hell to do.

Thanks,
~Psy

Things seem to be ok now, i think :)

www.lu-x.co.uk is the link.

Managed to do it in imageready then into dreamweaver, seems to be holding out. BUt i shall email if i have any niggles or such. Or ill just post up here.

Thanks for the offer though :)

I don't like the vertical links. It just takes too much effort to read them on the users behalf. I'd put them horizontal but then i guess it'd mean a totally whole new design. :(

with the mailto, im not over confident on that. I tried reading up on it but couldnt find anything that that related to parts of dreamweaver 8. I shall keep looking into it though.

No can do on the links im afraid, my gf designed it, so it has to stay :P
