Been looking at the OcUK Tech Labs - V12 Watercooling Kit http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-080-TL&groupid=962&catid=1532

are these a good way to go ? Currently just looking at cooling the CPU (1150) however maybe GPU block at a later date.

Budget. £250ish but can be played with. case is going to be a 450D i think after doing some homework.

I was going to go acrylic pipe but might go flexible for my first go. Also would really like a Clear CPU block if possible but really performance is key and why im doing this.

Just a few more posts and you can access the mm, some bargains to be had if you're fast enough.
I got a 360 and 240 rad, 2 gpu blocks and a ddc pump res combo for £150

they are a very good way to start. I would defo upgrade to the d5 pump btw though, worth the upgrade, and will help you later when you upgrade your graphics to water later on.

You defo would want to use flex tubing to start with. the cpu block it comes with is a clear one. I personally prefer ek blocks as I feel they look better, and easier to install to boot. the block it comes with has a black lid you can take off to be completely clear. or you could get a coloured one to match you themed wc build.

Also I would advise spending a bit more and add to your basket some angled fittings/compression fittings. will make your life a lot easier, as well as more pleasant to view.
hope this helps

Just be careful you dont post useless spam as mods will see this and could even bring back your post count to zero..

Cheers for the advice lol, was not plannning on spamming for the sake of it, the angled fittings are a good idea. What barnd do i "need" excluding the overly priced stuff for the sake of it.

all the brands sold on OcUK right now are good, choose the one that fits your budget.

i use the XSPC stuff its cheap and looks nice when fitted. But the EK fitting do look very nice too

I didn't buy any angled fittings for my first loop, after three weeks of it, I decided to change GPUs so now that I have the chance to fit some, I did, got a few ideas on tubing route from the website :D

I really want to go acrylic but think i will do it in flexible then try a couple of acrylic bits one at a time. Im looking at a 360 and a 240 rad so that its ready for the gpu later on. Might just go for the 360 first.

for fittings I used monsoon chain gun straights and also monsoon 45s/90s, with 1 or 2 bits power 30s.

They are not the cheapest, but I think they look great.and come in a ton of colours.

Bitspower have the best range in angles spacers ect ect.

I have also used ek.xspc and others, of the ones thus far monsoon are far better I think even better than bitspower ones.
