Hi all about a year ago I purchased a Corsair PSU this one I do believe

And the day I got it i came on here saying I was hearing a high pitched squeal.

I was told it was normal and tbh believed that as my friend and two others could not hear it but me and me bro could

I all so know that some people can only hear different frequencies so probably explained that reason.

Now the thing is I cant hear it as I type this and it comes and goes say I open a new web tab it will start then say if I close the tab it will stop.

I though I could live with it but it really is peeing me off now and I have had a PSU go on me once before its not pretty.

Please Please advise.

Hi all could I RMA to OCUK its still not a year and I do have proof that it was faulty or had this fault on delivery let me look for me old thread to check date :).

cant seem to find it damn :(
 
I think the retailer covers the warranty for the first year, after that it's up to the manufacturer. Perhaps youd be better contacting ocuk and theyll be able to advise you on this.
 
Hi there yes I will do tomorrow :) I just hope it was only a year ago cant remember may be longer now :(.

Oh well Corsairs have 5 years is it?.

Any one dealt with Corsair well RMA any thing back to them in the UK?.
 
If you do have to rma direct to corsair, the psu will have to be sent to the netherlands, their support/rma service though is very highly rated.
 
Hi again well I have found me receipt I purchased the PSU in July 2009 along with £300 of other stuff.

Why did I not just do it then :( I will beg OCUK see what they say :P hahahaha.

Unfortunately there's no point, one of my mates had psu issue, told em a month before but by time he came to rma he was one day out of the twelve months and had to deal with supplier, kinda sucky
