what is up with the darn Christmas tree whenever you select GTX 1080 cards?

I guess it's annoying seeing as you scroll down and look .... there's a green glimmer of hope ... oh wait, it's that darn tree again!

I think its the tree of hope
OCuk placed it there so to balance the page

so then entire page does not look so bad when everything else is out of stock :p

Or could have a hidden meaning ample stock will not stabilize until Xmas going at this rate
 
It's a promise that 1080s will come down to £10.80 by Xmas.

Also, it's a warning that if you're someone who doesn't want your computer lit up like a Xmas tree, then choose your 1080 carefully. :)
 
Perhaps it is some sort of subliminal message about when we should expect stock on certain models :D
