The idea is that they're the layer closest to your skin to prevent chafing. I wear padded undershorts under my cargo trousers, to avoid that "road cyclist" look.

The other solution is 'don't use a woman's saddle' which most exercise bikes seem to have.

Decathalon do indeed sell them; http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/performen-3899272/. No idea if they're the same quality as the dhb ones, but I guess there's no harm in trying them at that price.

I didnt even think to check the website, bargain! I'll pop in tomorrow as I could do with some other shorts for the gym anyway and maybe some gloves as the weights aren't doing my hands any favours either
