ok, i'm sold.....

Don't see a new one arriving for another 7-8 months at the minimum, judging from the current product cycle. Not sure they can do much part from giving it HSDPA.

If they make a 32gb or greater iPhone then I'd be sold ;)

As it is, I have an iPod Touch 32gb waiting for me at Xmas....oh the temptation to open it!

I don't see the logic behind the pricing of the touch, or why people buy them!

best part of £250 for 32gb's with a fancy touch screen, or £160 for a classic with 120gb's, I'd rather almost 4 times the space, for £100 less!

Enjoy your touch though, they are good fun!

According to MacRumors it's overdue.

I expect them to bump the capacity to 32GB as soon as slim NAND chips (iPod Touch has 2 NAND chips, the iPhone has 1 NAND) are available, which was announced a while back).

I'd hope for a development in bluetooth at some point in the future, possibly even the introduction of filming video capability.

sorry meant software updates for the touch.

The crazy legal system in the USA means Apple have to charge for updates to a device that doesn't have a subscription model.

Why it needs to be £5.99 is anyone's guess.. they could make it 1p, but they don't :o

Just had a look, hinting at after Jan 09 hmmmm

Indeed.

I'm in the market for a white handset (which is possible now that O2 have the iPhone on PAYG) but I'm waiting to see what is announced at MWSF.

Falling NAND prices mean it should stay at the same price too :)
