ok... problem

built the pc, its all responding etc

So i put the Asus disk in the cd rom and that does its thing it wants me to insert a formatted floppy, the pc hasnt got a floppy.

Soooo i had a spare one lying around, connected it all up, the light on it is on. anyway, it asks for the floppy again, it says Drive is not ready.

this is basically stopping me from doing anything.

do i have to use a floppy?
 
Have you put the floppy data cable on the right way round, I know on my PC it fits both ways but only works one way. If it's fitted wrong, on mine at least the green light will always be on.
 
ok...

i cannot format floppy's, it just wont work and i can only find 1 floppy :(
