... but it's only 1gb and it's quite messy, i've had the ram along time and it comprises of 2 x 256 and 1 x 512 that i've had for some time, wont overclock at all so i stopped trying.

I now really want to get 2GB which means replacing all the ram i currently have, thing is i really dont want to go slower... IE 3500 to 3200 but i'm not sure what the differance is.

I want something thats got good timing, not all that fussed about overclocking much.

I've read loads of threads but my attention span isnt what it used to be and i still dont get it, so basically im after ram that will go well with my cpu (A64 3500+, dfi lanparty 250 nforce 3)

gah, i hate buying ram, everything i buy never wants to overclock (mainly when i orignally bought 2 x 256 on there own).

id also like to run a 1T as my current ram just wont do it :(

so maybe... Mushkin 2GB DDR HP3200 High Performance Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB) CAS2 (991434) (MY-005-MK)

Will the above be okay at 1T? doesnt mention it.

or G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB) CAS2 Dual Channel Kit (F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX) (MY-007-GS)

The above is cheaper and has even tigher timing than the Mushkin...but 1T?

i like the look of the Corsair XMS3500 c2 kit but it's just a little to pricey for me.
