I live in a first floor flat, my brother in law lives in the second floor flat, we share a common hallway to the frontdoor.

Just walked out of my flat to go downstairs and walked into the girl i was seeing before i met the wife. She's seeing my brother in law.

Me and my brother in law are socket buddies.

Indeed. Comparisons to pencils and hamsters can be most embarassing. :p
