After having to return my VTX HD Radeon 6870 due to it been fautly, i don't want another VTX, which out of the choices for 6870s is the most reliable? :)
 
tbh i think you were just unlucky with the vtx going down, you should either just pick up the cheapest 6870 (which in this instance is a his for £131,
or (from my experience with msi and the twin frozr) get the msi for 157, my last two cards have been msi and i have been impressed with noise levels/cooling/ and build quality
