I think it's Tigger from Winnie the Poo. Can't prove it though.

The main guy on The Honeymooners (1951-55) used to say "Ol buddy, ol' pal, ol' friend of mine" to his best friend according to this.

Yes it's Lion King (almost goes without saying!). Bud excludes a single "Ol' Buddy" So wasn't quite sure.
