Old 2405FPW should I upgrade

I have a 2405FPW Dell 24" monitor which I must say is my best computer hardware purchase ever and have had it about 3 years now but wanted to know if I will see much different if i upgrade to a newer 24" and if so what one. I sometimes see burning on the screen, well I think this is the word which is used for it.

Also will I see much difference if I went up to the 27" dell

I've still got my 2405FPW and I'm still very happy with it. I've tested quite a few other screens, including the most recent Dell 24" release, the 2407WFP-HC. You may notice some improvements with response time (overdrive is more heavily used on the 2407WFP models), but if you're happy with the performance of the 2405FPW, I don't see any real reason to upgrade. The only improvement you might notice i guess is with extended colour gamuts, but nothing staggering i dont think, esp if you wouldn't really benefit from them
