I have an old Time PC I am rebuilding for a friend.
Its got one of the first 64bit Athlons in it, 3200+, with 333MHz SD Ram at Cas 2.5, on a MSI motherboard, dont know which one yet.

Anyway, do you think its worth clocking it?
And what settings do I need to look at (apart from FSB) to work best as I know nothing about clocking AMD CPU's (only really done my C2D).

:)

well I cannot get any Bios update, guess cause its a board made for Time by MSI, so its pants!
And I cannot get to Vcore so can really only play with the FSB.
Saying that, its gone upto 220MHz without any fuss, so as its such a pain I am going to stick with a free 10% increase in speed!

Thanks for you helpful comments. If I was changing the mobo I would have gone for more! But as its just a reinstall and clean sweep (as my friend knows nothing and it was screwed!) I will leave alone now!

:D
