Old Barton NF2 setup for HTPC?

I am doing a string of home upgrades at the moment and want to use the tv as a monitor for an old PC for online streaming/ dvd / bluray etc

i happen to have a trusty old NF2 AMD barton system with a 8600gtx gpu

there are no hdmi ports etc but does anyone have an idea whether this will actually be capable of it?

I had a 8600 GT up until last week - when it got binned - It stutters horribly on bluray ISOs - so disks would be same/worse.
And as all your video content will be handled by this you may struggle.
(look on the MM for a cheap replacement with HDMI)
