Old but new mobo needed

HELP! I have an ASUS CROSSHAIR II FORMULA, or should that read "I had" as it no longer will find any of its sata drives they just dissapeared overnight, and no amount of tinkering, praying etc has brought them back. I am on a hunt for an AM2+ mobo or AM3 as i am reluctant as yet to throw the whole lot away. I have a Phenom Black Edition, an ASUS EN8800GTS and 8gigs Ballistix Memory. Well it all worked fine for what a Grandad needed it for, so if anyone has a AM2+ that was proping up the shelf or was bought as a present but not needed, let me know. I have seen people asking for mobos on that wonderfull auction site which were more than i paid for it in the first place. It would be nice to get it going if not just to give it away as it seems such a waste, and getting the mobo mended would cost to much.

Maybe you could use an add in card for sata ports instead?

Might be just time to replace it with a cheap newer bundle.

Just bought an ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E with INTEL i9-10850 and 64Gb Corsair RAM and 1TB SAMSUNG M.2 Drive. So all good for the upgrade.

Lol. You bought into phenom black when the intel’s were clearly the better chips

now AMD are producing superior chips, you go buy intel.
