I totally forgot to post about this, but better late than never!
I've taken photos for as long as I can remember, starting off using my parent's old 2/3MP Canon point and shoot. I then went on to do photography at A-Level, studying it at college for 2 years and it easily became my favourite subject. I then applied to do photography and film at university, and at the moment of reckoning decided to do film. I've still carried on taking photos to this day, mainly as a hobby with a slight sprinkle of paid work.
So, 7 years after I began my photography A-Level course and lo and behold, my grandma decides to reveal on Christmas day that she's had a stash of my grandad's old cameras up in the cupboards above her bed. Why only now she's decided to tell me this is anybody's guess.
Anyway, I'm now the proud owner of 3 old cameras! Going by eBay and the likes I don't think they're worth anything but two of them are in pretty good condition and they're all in working order from what I can tell. So how can I go about using/modding them?
First up, a Polaroid J66 Land Camera (c1961-1963) in pretty mint condition with the original carry case and instructions:
Second is a pretty battered and unidentifiable Agfa. By the looks of it it used to be my grandads in the navy as the carry case has his name etched on the inside in a military-style font.
And last but certainly not least is my favourite, the Imperial Six-Twenty Snapshot (c1950s):
So, what can I do with them, and can anyone identify the Agfa? There's no serial numbers on it (from what I can see, including inside the loading flap), only the text "Agfa Bilinar" around the lens.
